DOgs at the farm

Decades of experience taught us something important:

Dogs need to run.
Dogs need to play.
But dogs also need rest.

A dog who plays all day without structure does not know how to be calm at home. A well-trained, confident family dog comes from balance between activity and downtime.

We intentionally limit our capacity to 10 Dogs. This allows us to give individual attention to each dog and find their appropriate small play group.

We especially enjoy working with friendly, social dogs and herding breeds — dogs who thrive with structure and purpose — because we’ve lived that life ourselves.

At the heart of Hudson Valley Dog Farm is something simple:

We never want a dog to feel uncomfortable and unnoticed.

And we never want a dog unsafe.

That protective instinct — built over 25+ years of working with dogs — shapes everything we do.

Hudson Valley Dog Farm exists so families can travel freely, knowing their dog is safe, social, and content in a calm, intentional environment.
