Immersive Training Program
New puppy or rescue? Want your puppy or adult dog to have an immersive learning experience? With over 25 years of experience training dogs, we understand that success comes from realizing that every dog has unique needs and motivators. Because of this we tailor the Immersive Training experience for each individual dog, combining the dog’s needs and motivators with the owner’s goals and lifestyle. Your dog will be one of a small number of dogs that are here for training, not one of dozens.
In our Immersive Training Program, your dog will stay at the Dog Farm for a period typically ranging from 2-4 weeks. During your dog’s stay with us, your dog will receive intensive training on a daily basis. You will be able to choose from several options or we can tailor a training program for your dog’s stay after a consultation.
Boarding
Hudson Valley Dog Farm is a private, rural dog retreat designed for families who see their dogs as true members of the household.
We intentionally limit our intake to ten friendly, social dogs at a time so each dog receives individual attention, structured play, and thoughtful supervision. Our owners live on site and bring over 25 years of hands-on experience caring for and training multiple breeds.
Dogs enjoy daily rotation in small play groups, with balanced time for activity and rest — ensuring they stay social, confident, and content without becoming overstimulated.
Customized Stay Options
Not every dog thrives the same way during their stay.
Some dogs settle best with extra quiet time and one-on-one attention.
Others benefit from additional engagement, movement, or new environments.
For this reason, we offer a small number of customized stay options designed to support each dog as an individual.
These can be selected when booking and tailored to what your dog needs most. Many dogs benefit from a combination of options that support both calm and engagement during their stay.
Calm & Connection
For dogs who benefit from a slower pace or more human interaction.

Light, confidence-building movement and engagement in a structured setting.
• Refresher Training
For graduates of our Immersive Training Program, we will work on reinforcing any basic manner behaviors for one session per day.
Exploration & Stimulation
For dogs who enjoy new environments and added variety.

Outings designed for dogs who are comfortable exploring beyond the farm and benefit from new experiences.
• Brain Games
Fun puzzles that your dog will enjoy in their kennel during quiet time.
