Immersive Training Program
In our Immersive Training Program, your dog will stay at the Dog Farm for a specified period of time, usually at least 2 weeks. During your dog’s stay with us, your dog will work with a professional trainer on a daily basis.
In our IMMERSIVE TRAINING PROGRAM, your pup will learn all the basics, like loose-leash walking, sit, stay, come, down, etc… in a beautiful country setting in the Hudson Valley.
Our facility is small, only 10 spots available, so your dog will get the individualized, caring environment he or she needs from experienced, certified trainers and in a positive reinforcement environment.
Our focus in the Immersive Training Program will depend upon your dog or puppy’s age or developmental phase
young Puppy
Age 4-6 months. For puppies in this developmental phase we will introduce basic manners training but our primary focus will be on teaching puppies how to thrive in the world: potty training, gentle handling exercises and socialization, and making sure your puppy learns how to learn.
dogs up to 2 years old
Age 6 months- 2 years. Dogs and puppies in this developmental phase will focus on learning a full set of basic manners including sit, down, wait, stay, place, loose-leash walking and recall.
dogs over 2 years old
Age 2 years+. We are here to help you and your dog get back on track with training. Whether life got in the way or you forgot to train your puppy, we have the ability to get them back on the right path to being a well-trained dog.
SPORT DOG PROGRAM
Age 2 years+. Have you been dreaming about all the cool things you’d like your dog to learn?
We are here to help your dog become a star! Help your best friend become the coolest dog on the block by enrolling him or her in our Sport Dog program. Your dog will learn all kinds of tricks and be introduced to the sports of canine frisbee, agility and/or swim in our 14,000 gallon pool (weather permitting) .
